The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) has identified and developed a strategy for the years 2004-2008 in order to proactively respond to its legal mandate and to enable it to perform within the following strategic objectives:

Research & Data Resource Management
To disseminate data and information to concerned parties, to make possible timely and informed action focused on ensuring a better quality of life for Jordanian families.
Policy Formulation & Reform
To facilitate the formulation, review and reform of policies and procedures that impact Jordanian families.
Coordination & Monitoring
To facilitate, coordinate and monitor the development and implementation of national policies, strategies and programs to improve the quality of life for Jordanian families.
Advocacy
To increase awareness of, and support for issues and policies that impact the quality of life of Jordanian families.
Organizational Development
To develop and support the capacity of the NCFA to technically, administratively and financially fulfill its role and responsibilities as defined by Jordanian law.
