One of the strategic objectives of the Childhood Unit (CU)  of the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) is to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the main childhood related strategies and plans of action. It is also essential for  the CU to coordinate between, and facilitate the efforts of, institutions working in the field of childhood to promote networking and information exchange.

The CU is currently working on coordinating and monitoring the National Plan of Action for Children and the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Strategy  and Plan of Action.
